Endless Ribbon Blue Ribbon Lamp, Black Lampshade

The "Endless Ribbon" table lamp is a refined furnishing piece that brings together light and design. This design object, made of MEISSEN porcelain, carries a hand-painted band in high-fire blue that flows around the lamp body without beginning or end, lending the porcelain a lively, dynamic line. This makes it a striking focal point that fits with care into discerning living spaces.

The porcelain body is vase-shaped, with a slender neck, a curved shoulder, and a stable foot. On the white ground, the blue bands wind in fine brushwork into a dense, flowing motif that concentrates on the belly of the vase and dissolves upward and downward into loops.

The black cylindrical shade crowns the lamp and forms a clear contrast to the light ground of the porcelain, so the blue bands stand out all the more distinctly. It diffuses the light softly and evenly, creating a warm ambient glow that brightens the room gracefully.

The brass fitting is brushed matte and finished with a satin protective lacquer. It connects the shade to the porcelain body and takes up the light with restraint. Its understated surface echoes the metal accents of the interior without competing with the blue decoration.

At 72 cm (28.3 in) tall, this design piece makes its presence felt on consoles, sideboards, or large side tables. In the living room, dining room, or hallway, it sets a clear accent while remaining well proportioned to the space.
